hello, early morning blog, we have already fed the chickens, taken the rescued baby chick out, let the dogs have a run around, now off to carcassonne to buy a football for salix's birthday party on saturday. ryan is walking the sheep, and busy protecting all the water system from freezing. good man! we are expecting three new helpers any day now, they are hitching from paris and yesterday they hitched all day to no avail. will put out for them to get a good lift ALL the way here today!!! then they can help with the party!!! the garlic and daffodil bulbs have gone into the garden, hopefully we will have a good crop of beans and peas early next year too - if the birds and mice dont eat them all! warm, balmy weather down here, no rain.
