wow, not quite a month and here i am, waiting for france telecom to call me, forced thus to sit in the grange all day... have managed to upload some new photos for you to enjoy. we have been busy of course, learning lots, and on a personal level growing larger with baby. the garden is looking great despite my lack of ability this year, so thanks to all who have helped keep that up. we are eating mainly our own crops, and have managed to freeze some haricot beans too. the plums are amazing, salix has been making crumbles almost every day! sue from last year came back for a while, and made some lovely oat pancakes with him too. good lunch with our cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, and so on. my friend florianne has given birth and is now laughing at my big belly. a big welcome to Titouan, the new member of the tribe!!!!!!!!!
over the last six weeks we have had the irish contingency, with derek, garrett and james brightening our lives with their antics, like, whatever. the children really enjoyed their trip camping up the mountain, and james' throwing them around and garretts cooking ; "BURN 'EM!!!" hello also to garretts mum and sister, it was great to meet you. Derek the bro in law always makes a good contribution to the farm, and we enjoy his company.
we also had the pleasure of a lovely visit from justin and hayley, the first people to stay at the grange yipeeee (hello you two!), and choo and ryan and their crew! with a visit to the three lakes above mijanes, where the blueberries abound. the village fĂȘte has been and gone - many late nights!
xandrija's time here, which was great, went too fast, we were invited to some friends' party (julia, gavin and alistair), amazing barn see photos. the fa side sounds system strikes again! fun had by all, all night long!
xandrija had a lesson from salix on the drums, and he has played lots since then!
here are various photos of people!!! there are some new ones, will work out how to do it all better next time...
