tree holes

yipee! An orchard has been planted at the Fa Farm. apple, pear and cherry. hazel too. wonderful. thanks to the Darlingtons for the supply of excellent grafted trees. The Darlingtons have quite an important link to the Fa Farm, as we bought our sheep from them too. And Robin Darlington is going to help me sort out my website. The fruit season is taking on a new perspective as the trees we have been planting over the last ten years begin to bear fruit. Fabien is busy looking for lego for his birthday this month, salix's drumming is coming on apace, and the violin has been sent off to be fixed! Ivor and i have had a terrible few days, no sleep for mum as he pushes his first teeth through...
We have had the pleasure of welcoming the perfect Helpx couple to our farm, Chris and Claire, archaologists by trade, digging holes for trees was quite apt i thought!
The minipelle fund is growing too, a visit to toulouse made us realise we need a bit more dosh!
Justin, Garrett, Lolo, salix, fabien and noah have gone up the hill with a picnic and the sheep to cut wood and prepare it to bring down, along with the solar panels for our new solar shower, that were made at the last party! The weather has not allowed us to take the tractor up the hill until now. spring is in the air, with the garlic, lettuce, chives and seedlings looking good in the greenhouse, the frost this morning was beautiful as the sun hit us the garden was sparkling. Ivor needs me, so off home with him, to do some lovely gardening.
here are a few photos...
