mushrooms 'n' nappies!

as we set off for chalabre in our little peugeot, full of high spirits and empty pots, we passed a man strolling along the track, a basket balanced over his shoulder. justin kindly stopped whilst i asked what he had been collecting? mushrooms as i suspected, a whole basket full, beautiful free food. Grisettes, or petit gris. from right behind our farm! that day we went out en famille, and found lots of varieties, over the hill near Tana's house, at the lac monbel. this morning we went up behind our farm and were home by ten am with two varieties of edible mushies!!! youpiiiii i love free food.
Congrats to Xandrija for passing her module one motorcycle exam! i believe the 'swerve' test is one to try out... sounds dangerous anyway!!!

Fabien had piano this morning, and wasnt late yipee, salix's drum lessons are a success, and we have managed to acquire a pearl drum kit for him through the local exchange system, we are replacing one piece at a time, so he still thinks we just found him a snare drum!!! it is encouraging him to play more!
fabien is at rugby right now, salix and dad with moses and noah have gone to quillan for their weekly dunking in the river aude - nutters! they love it! kayaking.
ivor is growing nicely, boobing every three hours, sometimes five ooooh! i am tired, but loving his attention, he is a lovely baby! already growing out of the smallest clothes, and nappies. we use washable nappies, and we are having fun making them up as we go along, terries and all. here is a photo of a v young baby in a v big nappy ha ha
