noah's tenth b'day

well, fifteen days later we celebrate the decade of noah harding,

i had the worst tooth ache ever and was completely out of action and pathetic,

whilst saveria and justin did everything! in the morning before the toothache hit me, we managed to do all the farm things before ten thirty. Go Team Lowry! then off to pick mushrooms (petit grise) to take to esperaza with us. Noah and friends played all day, musical statues, british bulldog, despite the cold wind,

followed by an enormous hedgehog - the cake was made by the birthday boy and then decorated by Aunty Tana. Pete and Saveria had fun photographing the cake!

The ducks have started laying again, which is great, we were getting depressed feeding over forty ducks and chickens with less than two eggs a day! the chickens are on strike still, but normally they pick up again after the solstice. Chickens depend on the number of hours of daylight apparently to lay or not to lay!
We woke up to snow this am, and the boys were out making snowballs whilst feeding and watering the chickens! We will have to leave a tap running if we dont want frozen pipes! strange in a world of water meters eh?
We received our vaccination vouchers today. Apparently by not having the vaccin we are putting others at risk. This seems a twisted reasoning in my humble opinion, and i really think that if the governments are foolish enough to believe the garbage they expect the people to believe then we are on the road to nowhere. Admittedly, most people accept what is brayed at them on the news as 'truth' and will somehow be persuaded that although the government dont want to put their budget into health, education and housing, suddenly, they are so concerned that they will pay certain companies millions to keep us from a pandemic that doesnt exist. something rotten there!
These last years i have avoided injecting my chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, and now myself....
