That is the name of the game, breathe deeply, several times, and try not to allow my ego to take over. MMMMMMMMMM
How do you deal with a child saying NO, when you know that it is because of their tiredness, level of excitedness, and possibly hormone related. I must not take it personally, so I have been told. I must not scream and shout, its not good for my throat (!) and I feel awful because I sent him to bed with no dinner. How can he be expected to grow and deal with those hormones without a square meal inside him...
The animals looked cold today, the water was frozen, the sun is very low, only a few days to solstice. Some of the sheep may be pregnant, so I have to know which ones are before I send some off to be sausaged. The guinea fowl were noisy today, i will try to tape them... raucous animals! Ivor made his chicken sound when he saw the eggs today. Last night, he sat in his bed while Salix and Fabien were reading and did the same, looking at his books. Moses and Noah came back to France for the festive season, and there was a joyful reunion of the boys with Ivor taking the centre stage, eating light bulbs (dont panic mum, we caught him before he bit it!!!), pulling cups of thankfully cold water onto himself (thank goodness it was nearly empty...), shaking his finger at them and generally stealing the limelight. wonderful. I think Noah was pleased with his birthday present, a YoYo...
Patience, God give me some, but HURRY PLEASE!!!!!!!
